U.S. private construction will grow for the first time since 2005 that according to a report by investment firm AllianceBernstein. The firm also forecasts expansion will continue into 2012. The growth was fueled primarily by non-residential construction, however residential construction is also showing modest growth. During October, new contracts for non-residential construction grew by 36% and new contractors for homes grew by 2%.
